A Sensitive Rapid Strep A Test

Stanbio Laboratory introduces QuStick TM Strep A Test Strip. A quickstep test to qualitatively detect the presence of Strep A antigen in throat swab specimens, providing results within 5 minutes. It utilizes antibodies specific for whole cell Lancefield Group A Streptococcus to selectively detect Strep A antigen in a throat swab specimen.

CLIA Category – Waived, QuStick TM Strep A provides an enhanced sensitivity of 97% compared to culture, which helps in the accurate detection of positive specimens, since fewer colonies (at throat swab collection) are required to yield a positive result.
