BEWATEC Kommunikationstechnik GmbH was founded in Telgte, Germany, in 1995. The acronym BEWATEC stands for "Beratung", "Wartung", "Technik" (consulting, maintenance, technology). BEWATEC specialises in the development of hardware and software for hospital entertainment devices and patient communication.

Our communication solutions include multimedia and TV sets, telephone sets and mounting and billing systems as well as the required software for the installation, administration and integration of the devices.

In Telgte, BEWATEC has been producing high-value and innovative flat screens since 1998. These are used as individual, bedside solutions. Innovative ideas and outstanding technical properties have helped BEWATEC become the market leader in Europe. BEWATEC solutions have been implemented in most clinics and hospitals in Germany and we are supported by official partners from all European countries.

Team skills, creativity and a strictly customer-oriented focus on the needs of our customers and partners, form the basis of BEWATEC's success. As our customers' partner we consider ourselves to be a comprehensive service provider of communication solutions for hospital entertainment equipment.

With its facility size and an office space of some 3,000 sqm, our headquarters in Telgte employ almost 90 people. From here we provide modern hospital entertainment equipment to bedsides, for the good of the people and for the benefit of our customers.
