Medical Biological Union, Ltd. (MBU) is one of the first privately held biotech companies in Russia located in Academgorodok, the Novosibirsk Scientific Center area.
With its core expertise in the development and commercialization of science-intensive projects in the Health Science area, MBU has become one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of in vitro diagnostic products in Russia and the former USSR.

MBU manufactures and markets:

ELISA test kits for the in vitro diagnostics of more than a dozen of human infectious diseases;

Reference materials such as:
o Performance panels of sera for the quality control of the test kits imported and manufactured in Russia, which are recognized as national immunological standards;
o Control and qualification panels for quality evaluation and monitoring of a diagnostic laboratory work.

The majority of products have the certifications of country-manufacturer (Russia) and have not CE-mark.

MBU invites partners and customers to cooperate in distribution of in vitro diagnostics on local and international markets including supplies on OEM basis.
