 •       Can you please walk us through the REA Elektronik’s various products and their utilization in the pharma industry?

REA JET HR pro OEM ( https://www.rea-jet.com/en-un/coding-and-marking-systems/high-resolution-inkjet-printer/industrial-inkjet-printer-rea-jet-hr-pro-oem.html ) First choice for rapid serialization applications and complete machine integration. This High Resolution Inkjet Printer (HP) was especially developed for a fully integrated installation in machines and systems. Its controller has the smallest dimensions in its class and fits into any type of machine and control cabinet. The possible connection of up to four print heads and its extremely high-performance processor make it powerful enough to meet future coding and marking demands. The REA JET HR pro OEM mark, for example, folding cartons efficiently, quickly, reliably and to the highest quality.

REA JET SC 2.0 ( https://www.rea-jet.com/en-un/coding-and-marking-systems/small-character-inkjet-printer/cij-printer.html ) The Small Character Inkjet Printer (SC) enables contact free printing of 1 to 8-lines of text, dates, barcodes, Data Matrix codes and logos in high resolution, and with print heights up to 12mm. Its robust and stainless steel housing and its intuitive operation make this coding and marking solution suitable for smooth surfaces like foils, laminates and a very wide assortment of plastics and metals.

The pharmaceutical industry has no choice and must apply codes on its products. The integration of coding, marking and labeling systems usually brings down the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the entire system. •       Could you share with us an example or case study, which could highlight the benefits of your solutions in the pharma sector?


We can describe the case of a contract manufacturer (CMO) which produces for a variety of pharmaceutical companies, also on an international level. He uses a REA JET HR pro OEM, a REA JET SC 2.0 and a REA JET CL, controls them with our TITAN Platform and verifies the codes with our REA Verifier VeriCube device. This gives him high process reliability and double maximum flexibility at the same time: on the one hand in its production planning, and on the other in terms of meeting the diverse labeling needs of its customers – including international customers with the particular preferences and conditions of their markets.
