We have a vast experience in precision extrusion for our costumer designed tubing for the medical device industry. Our capabilities include both fluoropolymer and thermoplastic extrusion. Our experiences range from research and development to small, medium and automated high volume production. We serve markets in the fields of infusion technology, cardio-, vascular and delivery devices.

Optinova operates under GMP guidelines. Our locations in Finland, Thailand and Minnesota, USA, are operating under ISO13485:2003 certification.

Clean Room Environment

Based  in  Finland, Optinova  operates  all  production  within Class  I  00,000/ISO  Class 8 clean  rooms, which  are  routinely maintained  and  certified.   Optinova-MLE has established White Room conditions for all levels  of  production.

In process control

Our teams utilize a range of equipment to monitor wall thickness, ID and OD sizes during the runs as well as AQL post run inspections.   Contact and non-contact methods are available based on materials, durometer and profile.
