POWERGRIP 3.0 micro

The requirements to minimally invasive instruments are increasing with the options of modern surgery. Bissinger tries to meet these requirements with innovative new developments. Particularly the safe bipolar technology requires continuous further developments to ensure the maximum amount of safety for the patient and to permit highly precise operations. With the new Powergrip 3.0 micro Instrumentarium in connection with the Bissinger trocar 3.0 micro, we are setting a new standard in minimally invasive surgery.
The introduction of the trocar with an outer diameter of only 3.4 mm into the patient requires a much smaller skin incision, which accelerates healing. The cosmetic component is considered here as well. The outer diameter of the instrument shaft, at only 3 mm, is perfectly coordinated with our trocar. The delicate double-action jaws enable the surgeon to grip the tissue to be coagulated precisely in spite of the small diameter and without compromissing the usual tissue preparation.

POWERGRIP Bipolar Coagulation Forceps

Precise coagulation, more powerful grasping, better cutting and more exact work: the Bissinger POWERGRIP

The Bissinger POWERGRIP is an instrument used for grasping, cutting and bipolar coagulation in Minimally Invasive Surgery. It is characterized by a mechanism enabling well adjustable opening and closing of the jaws with very high pressure while grasping and cutting. This is accompanied by precise coagulation of the tissue. The jaws are moved by a double hinge which is connected electrically and mechanically to the handle by a slide rod.

The connector for standardized bipolar cables is integrated in the particularly ergonomic handle made of high quality PEEK polymer. This saves the purchase of expensive special cables and prevents them from being connected incorrectly. We supply standardized bipolar cables for connection topractically all common high-frequency generators. The Bissinger POWERGRIP can be dismantled in three parts. This enables thorough and reliable cleaning and facilitates the execution of repair work or the replacement of defective parts.

Beyond that, the Bissinger POWERGRIP offers a number of important further advantages:

CLARIS NON-STICK Bipolar forceps

During the coagulation of tissue the coagulated tissue might stick to the tip of the forceps. This undesirable effect can almost completely be avoided by using the new CLARIS NON-STICK bipolar forceps. By applying a material with excellent thermal properties for the tips of the forceps, difficult and time-consuming cleaning of the forceps during an operation is no longer necessary and enables non-stop working. The non-stick effect is permanently ensured and will not be reduced, even if subject to frequent sterilisation. By using a suitable connecting cable, CLARIS NON-STICK bipolar forceps can be connected to all high-frequency electrosurgical generators generally used.

Bipolar forceps

Bissinger guarantees that only high-quality materials are used for the production of our instruments. Consistent and optimum spring tension, for example, is ensured by using special surgical steel. The well-proven isolation coating resists without any problems to highly alkaline cleaning agents, so that the electrical safety of the instrument is reliably ensured. The safety plug made of high-tech plastic encloses the complete connection area, even between the contact surfaces, in order to avoid the deposit of impurities in areas which are difficult to access.

CLARIS + Non-Stick Bipolar forceps

During bipolar coagulation a build up of tissue can occur on the forceps tips. This damaging effect can be almost completely avoided using Claris + nonstick bipolar forceps. The difficult and time consuming cleaning of forceps, during an operation, is often no longer necessary and interruptions during the procedure are significantly reduced. The Claris non-stick effect is achieved by using an alloy with a very high percentage of silver for the forceps tips, thus ensuring excellent thermal conductivity. This beneficial effect is permanent and will not reduce even with repeated cleaning and sterilization cycles. Claris + non-stick bipolar forceps can be used with all electrosurgical generators in conjunction with compatible bipolar cables.

BiTech Bipolar scissors

BiTech bipolar scissors enable cutting and dissection with simultaneous bipolar coagulation. They can be used for a large number of applications in open surgery. The patented construction principle ensures that the scissors are both easy to use and to repair. The electrical contacts for both scissor blades are conducted via one section of the handle, i.e. the connection cable only needs to be attached to one ring, which significantly reduces interference during handling.

MITHRAS bipolar micro-coagulation forceps

The scope of modern surgery constantly increases the requirements on surgical instruments. Bissinger is meeting these requirements with innovative new designs in the field of high frequency electrosurgery. Utilising safe bipolar technology allows continuous improvements in order to maximize patient safety and enable highly precise operations. The new Mithras instruments offer a unique solution with a shaft diameter of only 3 mm. Mithras sets new standards for minimally invasive surgical procedures, for example in ENT and neurosurgery particularly where access to the operating field is limited. The new designs utilize the familiarity of the standard handle shapes the surgeons know and take them to the next operating level.

The electrode inserts can be attached to either handle style and with the various geometries, allow for flexibility in multiple specialities. In addition, using the dedicated suction tube, the surgeon will be able to maintain a clear view of the operating field during coagulation. The disposable suction tube fulfills all hygienic requirements as an intense cleaning procedure is not needed. All other parts of the instrument can be easily disassembled, cleaned and sterilized.

Mangeshikar Uterine-Manipulator

The Mangeshikar Uterus Manipulator by Bissinger was developed for the manipulation and presentation of the uterus during a complete laparoscopic hysterectomy, as well as protecting the bladder, ureter, and rectum during the electrosurgical resection of the uterus. The reusable instrument is fully modular and can fit all anatomical conditions as vaginal delineating tubes and intrauterine elements of various sizes are available. Once the instrument is in place the uterus can be moved in all directions, this providing optimal exposure of all anterior,posterior and lateral aspects of the uterus.
