Thermal transfer ink ribbon
A good print result that meets the requirements of the application depends on the right combination of label material and selected thermal transfer ribbon, especially in thermal transfer printing. The principle applies: the higher the resin content of a ribbon, the more resistant and robust the print. Short-life labelling, on the other hand, usually gets by with the cheaper ribbons with a high wax content. Wipe resistance is often sufficient here. Long-life marking or marking under harsh conditions, on the other hand, requires high smear and scratch resistance. We will be happy to advise you.

Sample labels for cryogenic storage (down to -196° C) & freezer application (down to -80°C)
In the laboratories of clinics and research institutions, samples are often stored permanently. Depending on the substrate and application, a wide variety of temperature ranges are used. Where standard materials often reach their limits below -18°C, deep freezing at -80°C or even cryogenic storage in liquid nitrogen at -196°C pose great challenges for the materials used for secure sample labelling. It is good to know that the materials for long-term archiving can also refer to intensive testing in nitrogen.
